June Came Rushing In

June proved to be yet another busy month!  That came rushing in with all of the rain that we were still having in June.  Seriously, do you know how hard it was for me to get somewhat of a tan before we went to the beach at the end of June?

Summer Basketball Camp...the cutie with the white shorts is my hubby.
Funny thing happened on one of the days of basketball camp...a little guy pulled the fire alarm!  AHHH!  That meant everybody had to exit the building.

Going to summer basketball games to watch Brian's players was a blast!   Not sure if those boys know how much we ALL love them!

Just cute...what can I say?  Had to throw this in!

More baseball!

AND MORE baseball...look at the body language on this one.  I cannot tell you how this breaks my heart.  He forgot to tag up with a fly ball.  He was out...daddy giving some comfort and constructive criticism!
Hoop it Up in Cincy!  Brian got connected with the owner of Hoop it UP and was asked to help run  this tourney.  He invested quite a bit of time setting up and cleaning up.  Our family went down the day of the event to help run the sponsor booths!  I loved it. Who am I kidding?  We all loved it!   A beautiful day...the first one in a while!

Boys judging the dunk contest!

Miss Lauren...another one of our favorite people...she is gorgeous inside and out!

This was my sponsor station.  I think I may have let our high school players up there to play!  Oops...couldn't resist!
Vacation Bible School Fun!

More Vacation Bible School Fun!

Other things that went down in June...
~Brian went to Team Camp with his players in Michigan
~All Star Tournaments...we have 1 more and I will do a post on just that!
~Vacation to Florida
~Vacation to Oklahoma to see my family!

I will be back tomorrow with more on our trips, but for now I am going to go lay by the pool and celebrate my anniversary!  Brian and I have been married for 11 years today!  Good times, great oldies!

Winds of March Breezing Their Way into July

March brought lots of excitement!  My cousin, Jill, from Colorado came to live with us for a few months.  Her momma dropped her off.  My momma decided to come in for the drop off too!  That weekend was certainly a world wind of fun because Swish had its 2nd annual H.O.R.S.E tournament.  It was a huge success!  We even had a celebrity bracket this year that included the kicker from the Bengals! How cool is that?

Our Little Miss celebrated her 4th birthday with a Soda Pop Party.  As usual, there was so much that didn't get done.  I think it still turned out pretty adorable.  Not as cute as our little miracle.  When we were looking back through the pictures, she said that is so cute...I want to do a party again.  That is what makes it all worth it.

TEAM CAMP

Brian's team got to visit three campuses within their  4 day trip...Duke, Wake Forest, and North Carolina.  Now, visiting college campuses is right down Brian's alley, so he had the week jammed packed to maximize the overall "camping" spirit.  Little Man got to be a part of everything.  The boys are so good to him.  Thanks to them...he now knows how to do the "John Wall."  This is quite comical to watch.  Gotta get it on video.

These are the highlights I caught on camera during the last part of their camp beginning with my ABSOLUTE favorite.  Little Man is laying on his bed in one of the college dorms at NC.  I mean.  Really?  Don't you want to jump through the picture to kiss that little tan face!  Mmm...so precious!

Yet another favorite with our good friend and coach, Mr. FOP.  This man married one of my very best friends from college.  They met each other through Brian and me.  The story goes a little something like...Coach FOP was in the heat of the game...rallying his team with his assistant by his side (that would be Brian) when a hot chick caught his eye.  He looked up at me, I mean the girl sitting next to me and his heart began to melt.  He didn't know her name or even her age, but knew he wanted to marry her.  Miss C saw him looking up at her and felt instant chemistry.  They emailed, phoned, fell in love, got married, and had a baby.  The rest is history.

Watching a video about NC before touring their basketball museum...pretty impressive...guess they'd have to be since Michael Jordan went there!

Meet Rosie...she was Little Man's personal chef during team camp.  See...Little Man is melting hearts everywhere.

BBALL CAR WASH

Brian was able to get his players into the North Carolina basketball team camp.  From what I understand, that is a big deal.  Big deal = BIG MONEY!  To help raise some funds, the boys had a car wash.  This was hilarious and a good time.  As usual, memories of my own childhood rushed back to my youth group in Arizona and Oklahoma.

HEY!  My wingspan is longer than yours...

This is one of the coaches helping to wash a car.  Note he is kind of flying solo.  Where are the players?

Oh, oddly enough, they are sitting inside of the car allowing him to do all the work.  What makes this even funnier is that he is washing HIS own car.  Gotta love it!

BBALL SUMMER CAMP

As you know, my husband is the boys' varsity coach in our town.  He holds a camp for the little ones every summer.  Little Man has been going to it since he was three.

We ended the week with a swim party.  Two of our favorite girls stopped by.  I wonder why.

Oh, now I know why!  Meet part of Brian's team.  :)

Love these boys.  They are so good to our kids!

Straight Ballin'

Nothing like grown men playing H-O-R-S-E at the end of our driveway.  It gets even more interesting when the dunking starts.  Looks like we might have some pros in our midst.

I won't show you the picture of me laying in the street because I fell trying to get these photos.  I look exceptionally large and pale...it is just flat out awful!  I burned that dress...yes...I was laying in the street with a dress on...can anyone say lady?!?  I am indeed clumsy, but got some great photos of the guys!

BASKETBALL SEASON

This past week Brian had a meeting with the parents of the boys that are interested in playing basketball next year to discuss summer plans and what not (ha).  Bball is a huge part of our lives since Brian is a coach, his side business (one of many) revolves around it, and because you will rarely see LM without a basketball in his hand (much like my brother was as a child).  After posting pics of Isaiah's party, I realized that I haven't shared pictures of this last season for either the coach or player in my life.

{Brian trying to be young again~which eventually help lead to a hurt back!  Thank ya very much!}

{Junior Dribblers}

{He won the free throw competition at the Shoot OUT with...he made 5 out of 6.  As a mom, I personally think he would have made all 6...if he hadn't moved from his spot because he thought he was finished!  :)  I am just sayin'! }

This year, a little cheerleader made an appearance.  What a crack up!  I am on a mission to either sew or buy a cheerleading outfit for her to wear to the games.  She even held her arms in the same position as the cheerleaders during the National Anthem.  Check her out!  One of these days, I will figure out how to put a video on here, so you can see her chant C-A-T-S!  Love her!
