June Came Rushing In

June proved to be yet another busy month!  That came rushing in with all of the rain that we were still having in June.  Seriously, do you know how hard it was for me to get somewhat of a tan before we went to the beach at the end of June?

Summer Basketball Camp...the cutie with the white shorts is my hubby.
Funny thing happened on one of the days of basketball camp...a little guy pulled the fire alarm!  AHHH!  That meant everybody had to exit the building.

Going to summer basketball games to watch Brian's players was a blast!   Not sure if those boys know how much we ALL love them!

Just cute...what can I say?  Had to throw this in!

More baseball!

AND MORE baseball...look at the body language on this one.  I cannot tell you how this breaks my heart.  He forgot to tag up with a fly ball.  He was out...daddy giving some comfort and constructive criticism!
Hoop it Up in Cincy!  Brian got connected with the owner of Hoop it UP and was asked to help run  this tourney.  He invested quite a bit of time setting up and cleaning up.  Our family went down the day of the event to help run the sponsor booths!  I loved it. Who am I kidding?  We all loved it!   A beautiful day...the first one in a while!

Boys judging the dunk contest!

Miss Lauren...another one of our favorite people...she is gorgeous inside and out!

This was my sponsor station.  I think I may have let our high school players up there to play!  Oops...couldn't resist!
Vacation Bible School Fun!

More Vacation Bible School Fun!

Other things that went down in June...
~Brian went to Team Camp with his players in Michigan
~All Star Tournaments...we have 1 more and I will do a post on just that!
~Vacation to Florida
~Vacation to Oklahoma to see my family!

I will be back tomorrow with more on our trips, but for now I am going to go lay by the pool and celebrate my anniversary!  Brian and I have been married for 11 years today!  Good times, great oldies!

VBS, BABY!

My kids got to take part in yet another wonderful Vacation Bible School put on by our church...directed by none other than the great Miss Carolyn.  Little Miss is still SiNgInG her little heart out!

The props were incredible!

Little Man invited his friend.  This little guy has been his buddy since he was born.  His dance moves made me think that I needed a little guy of my own!  Love him!

Little Miss Princess catching some bubbles during an outdoor activity.  The kids were supposed to dress up in a pirate outfit.  I pulled one out for Little Miss to wear and she told me it was ugly and "I a princess."  Thus the outfit.  Miss Carolyn has one of her walking the plank.  Too funny.  Pirates capture princesses, right?!?

I love this picture of my little monster and think the two in front of him are hilarious.

VBS...Crocodile Style

Last week flew by because we had VBS everyday. I love that I had the opportunity to play a role in the pouring of God's Word into little children's hearts. Not to mention, we have an amazing Children's Pastor that looks at every angle possible to insure children have a good time learning more about the Lord.
Having said that...I am plum exhausted and the wonderful, abundant Word wasn't the only thing that was pouring...the sweat flowed rivers down my spine. This wasn't because we were outside or that we weren't in air conditioning. I was a line leader for the 2 year olds! We also traveled to each station with the 3 year olds...double YIKES! Running here there and everywhere was the name of the game. I think I came home and took a nap with the kids 3 out of the 5 days. The most running came on Sunday morning for the program...we led our crew up on the stage and had a few decide to wonder astray...including Peanut! One child made a running jump off the stage and bolted to his mother! I HATE BEING IN FRONT OF A CROWD more than anything, so you know it was the Lord that I was even able to help manage the kids. I kept reminding myself that people love to come and see kids do funny things...guaranteed the VBS program brought a powerful message and a few laughs! Here are some highlights of the kids last week:

DRESS CRAZY to Scare the Crocs Away Day

PJ DAY

HAT 'N' Funky HAIR DAY

~Little Man's hair was spiked, but it fell down...it is funky without much work...the boy needs a haircut~

VBS SHIRT DAY

Father's Day Sunday/VBS Program

Brian took pictures of the program, but didn't get Peanut because she quickly was off the stage! The picture of her was taken afterwards...much more appropriate, don't you think? CONTAINED!

Anywho, we had a huge weekend with three parties and Little Man's last baseball game. I will try to post pics of those later!
