April Showers Bring Flowers in JULY!

While March was our busiest month, April proved to be just as busy with just as many celebrations!  We went to Oklahoma to celebrate my sister's and our two kiddles' birthdays.  We love our time there.  Lots of eating and laughing.

Our Little Man had his 7th birthday...Oh my goodness!  I cannot believe that he once was my little baby!    This year, he wanted to do something different than a party by momma.  Kind of broke my heart,  but also was a bit of a relief because I didn't know if I would be able to pull off another party just 2 weeks from the last.  Who am I kidding?  I already had his planned since January!  I am hoping I can use it next  year because it is a good one!  Perfect for him!

Did I mention that my baby Daddy had his birthday in March?  We got him a waffle maker because he is so obsessed with waffles at various hotel continental breakfasts!  That was a mouth full!  Literally!  He made his first batch for us in April!  A great treat and tradition that the kids will love!

Easter!  We went to church and then out for Brunch.  Had some fun taking photos with the family!  It was great having Jill here with us!  I miss that girl so much!  She was my live in friend!

Little Man's teeth were falling out right and left!  He lost a tooth at school and Brian had to pull one.  This last one was pretty awful to get out.  Apparently, the skin had grown back into the center of the tooth.  Twist not once, but three or five times!  Ugh!  Gross!

Christmas Eve-OKC

Before my brother, sis-in-law, and niece go out of town, we celebrated together with yummy food, a visit from Santa, opening some presents, modeling new PJ's, tracking Santa, baking cookies, leaving treats for Santa and his reindeer, and listening to the REAL story of Christmas.

We ordered red jammies for everyone in the family...so stinking hilarious.  I wish I could post some of the pics, but my family would disown me.  Just know that their was a lot of uncontrollable laughter!

Tracking Santa...

Baking with Nonny is always fun...

Christmas Day-OKC

Every year it happens...my family goes overboard.  I think that my mom starts shopping the day after Christmas and continues to do so for the next year.  She finds items on sale and clearance which means more for us!  I am not complaining just feel really blessed.

My parents designed some shoes for Brian on Nike.com...

The aftermath of being blessed...

My sister works for the sports management group that runs the arena where the Thunder plays.  Every year the boys go to a game together.  Brian has Little Man convinced that Kevin Durant recognizes him.

SPRING BREAK IN OKC

So, I have what equals about a whole lifetime to catch up on here.  I don't have any other excuse other than we have been crazy busy enjoying our summer together.  Unlike most summers, I haven't completed any organization projects.  In fact, don't freak out, but I didn't even put together a tangible list.  This isn't to say that I don't have a ton that has to get done, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do much other than enjoy the kids.  I am thankful.  Okay, so as a I try to play catch up, try to enjoy the ride.  That is if anyone even still reads this thing...

As always, we have a blast visiting my family in OKC.  For some reason, I didn't take as many photos.  We went to the zoo and celebrated Easter while we were there...good times.  Couldn't resist posting pics of Little Miss P as a diva.  Poses were not my idea, but hers.  What are we in for?  :)

OKC Christmas

Every year, we make the trip to OKC to see my family. This year, we were snowed in! It was wonderfully cozy...so picturesque of a White Christmas. Combine that with my Momma's Christmas decor...it was perfect!

UNCLE CAM AND AUNT "WHITTY" (WHITNEY):

ME AND MY SIS, AUNT KEEKEE...she will be ticked that this isn't of her with the kids, but I want to remind her how much she loves me:

SANTA'S TREAT AND THANK YOU LETTERS:

MOST IMPORTANT STORY OF CHRISTMAS BEING READ BY MY DAD (POPPY):

I couldn't resist putting in a few pictures of Little Miss P as the family beautician. She got a little make-up kit for Christmas. Let me tell you, everyone-boy or girl, whether they liked it or not, received a beauty treatment.

***Please note...I do have a mother that is absolutely beautiful, but she didn't want to be photographed. However, I did get this shot...one hott mama! I am waiting with anticipation for the phone call from her that will be coming any minute... sorry, Mommasita!
